Beautiful novel put to shame by translator. I remember reading translations of this novel on a site called walkthejianhu (or something similar) and they pulled it off wonderfully, and they weren't even getting paid or taking donations (as far as I can remember), they were purely translating it because they enjoyed the novel and wanted others to read it as well. It's very sad to see such a wonderful novel be translated so badly, please up the quality or get a new translator altogether. Hurry and catch up to previous translations as well please...

LIKEIt's too bad that they can't keep the previous translator or get someone better. I hope they do find someone soon to give justice to this fine work.
Dope_Moses:Yep, it was Walkthejianghu, they did such a good job. Every tricky word-play was clearly explained, the TL notes seemed more like he was there with you, reading along........such a shame that they stopped right before Qidian picked up.
Walkthejianghu was able to keep much of the word play. The current trans is a direct meaning, but somehow failed to maintain the quirkiness of the novel. As much as I liked the latter, the current is not really that bad.
jv1_gmail_bkGmail:I'm sorry before, but I want to know what terrible translation there is? I want to check, because I just started reading this novel.
So its been a while since I've read this (I think I also read the manwha or whatever its called) and don't remember some of the tags... I mean why is Reverse Rape there? was it there from when trolls (and WN users) were able to add tags to a book? to or did it actually happen...
