LIKENo thats called potential love interests aka multiple love interests tag. Harem should only be used for confirmed catch them all not bait the reading into thinking it is hope that helps dude
Like I love COTE but u gotta remember kiyotaka in the book and anime didn't have a harem and yet u put it here exciting me but turns out it was BS its the same reason people were annoyed at the anime for baiting our feelings for him and ichinose. So ya.
Im more mad at another author for doing deep descriptions for female leads and basically never for the mc got me feeling like mc is a side character passerby at this point plus the ever changing personality side when he isn't described has me re-thinking the mc every chapter or so. This is why I find a description of how the mc is and keeping to that setting important. Most zoomers with short attention spans wont notice since this author describes girls and adds big booba to keep them distracted but it infuriates me because I'm reading for the MC not the girls
In many one-pair romantic stories, the factor is used that several girls have feelings for one person, but in the end he ends up with one, so this is absolutely not the right thesis for a harem. For a harem, at least two girls need to admit their feelings for their partner, know that both have done it, and be able to openly show their intimacy in each other's presence without confrontation. Of course, there is jealousy in harems, but mainly because of the desire to get more personal time, rather than "win" each other. I hope that one day you will write a real harem in this world, but I understand the difficulty of this challenge. The only normal functional harem in my memory is COTE: Eroge, where girls have achieved such openness of feelings due to the influence of the System, that is, the plot crutch
