Probably one of if not the best original stories on webnovel, and yes, I said original. Do not let the mention and breif visitation of games fool you, Abadom has written an amazingly fleshed out world from the ground up. Anything jnvolving games only takes up about 5 - 10% of the story. Abadom isnt perfect, so ill make a pro and con list and explain why for each entry.
PROS:
MC - Phillip is the best main character ive ever read. He actually evolves like a character should, he doesnt just stay the same stagnant pile of writing.
Supporting Characters: A lot of the supporting characters are very well fleshed out, none of them feel like yes men or ' heroine_ 4058'.
World Building: There is plenty of world building, and it explores how the world is outside of the human empire a lot.
CONS: Now before getting into cons, I personally dont see some of these as cons, but I do know a lot of people do, anything like that I'll put a star next too.
Yappology *: Goddamn do the characters in his story never stop yapping. Every character just goes on and on and on, makes me think every character has ADHD or something. Theres a reason each chapter is a minimum of 50 pages (thats a joke keep doing yo shit Abadom).
Excessive Mystery*: Although mystery is a good thing to have in any story, there is a metric ton of mystery attatched to this series. Without spoiling anything, we are told of multiple things that we wont know the true meaning of for atleast 100 chapters, and it can get annoying after a while.
Inconsistency: Although there are not a lot of inconsistencies in the story, there is in the uploading chapters. Now, I understand why his schedule is incosistent, and I dont really mind, but there are those times where I just cant defend it. a week is fine, 2 weeks is fine, 3 - a month is a bit outrageous. In case of family stuff is different, but other than that, an announcement or so would be nice. though to be fair, im not on the dicord (if there is one) so maybe he announces that stuff there.
Anyways, im done yapping myself. TLDR: Very good, read it you shmuck.
