Tang Yuehua problem was solved in such a manner that it left me speechless. I mean, cmon you think people don't have common sense? The author is kinda crazy, at the least make her problem complicated! so that solving her inability to cultivate soul power wont make everyone in doulou continent look like fools. other than that the exploding soul ring i don't have much of a problem since other aspects look very reasonable.

So, I'm the translator of the story, I really liked the idea, I agree that it's something simple that borders on idiotic, Tang Yuehua's solution idea. But I thought about how Gu Ziyi solved it made him think a little outside the box, because people thought it would be something more complicated than it should be. Of course, it's still a very idiotic and simple solution to an unprecedented problem.
I think people tend to underestimate how much of a difference having a different outlook on things can make. Things that are very simple can easily be overlooked if they don't fit the common sense of the people. This is exactly as it was explained in the novel. It's also something that has happened countless times throughout history IRL as well.

You probably watch too many movies where some dumb guy says a random word or sentence then suddenly his genius friend realises what he has been missing and proceeds to create a nuclear bomb. A problem like Tang Yuehua cannot be missed out by something so simple as for why? Well first of all, she's from a huge clan so basically her dad will ask many people on their opinions heck he even took her to a level 99 guy. If the MC solved her problem in a mysterious way or otherworldly knowledge (Earth knowledge)it would have been fine but MC concept is still within doulou dalu power base system so many people would have already thought of this concept. Not to mention a level 99 guy who misses that, high rank level guys are supposed to be geniuses okay if it was easy they would have solved it.
Newbie here, haven't read this novel. I think author is right about our of box unorthodox thinking. You might think just bcuz "Tang Yuehua" is from a big clan, there might've been someone who thought about some simple solution. But that's not necessarily the case, as orthodox rigid mindset is ingrained into the people of DD. That's not something anyone can change. Only a transmigrator who hasn't been much influenced by world, can think outside the box much more easily than some natives who've been exposed to the world's common sense.
