This fanfic is very interesting with how it explores the already established characters and brings about changes to the timeline that feel believable. The MC is likeable and stands out with his approach to each character and how his interactions with them change them for the better. The writing of events is PEAK and the action is a sight to behold. When I read this novel, I can't help but compare it to the original and find it lesser. I know this is a work on an established franchise using modern FATE lore, but this novel is the greatest piece of writing I've ever seen. The only official material that I think can even match this story is either Unlimited Blade Works from the Visual Novel or the Seventh Singularity from Fate Grand Order.

There is no harem if that's a worry of yours, and the female lead is not yet fully established as I've read over half of the story and it's mostly been the MC and his interactions with others rather than any explicit romance and flirting

Yes but typically when readers go searching through R-18 tags, itโs for the lemons. Rarely does someone disregard the possibility of lemons and search fanfics purely for blood or gore if ever. Because I canโt tell you how many fics Iโve read that had plenty of blood or gore with no R-18 tag. Iโve even seen fics with lots of hardcore lemons and no R-18 tag. However 9/10 times when someone is searching for a fic with lemons, itโs by searching for the R-18 tag. Argue all you want but that tag comes with certain expectations. If youโre an author and have that tag and have no intention to write a lemon then you need a disclaimer in bio stating there is no seggs or lemons. Just like idiotic authors post no-harem or no yuri.

Iโm not heated up over a single story. Iโve read plenty of fics either with lemons or without. I get heated when R-18 tag is used solely for gore and violence when thatโs unnecessary. Majority of the readers who use webnovel are adult and male. They donโt need to be informed whether a fic has gore and violence or not. But the R-18 tag comes with lemon expectations. So unless youโre the Author. You can go troll someone else.
