I am utterly appalled by the recent developments in this novel. After reading up to chapter 81, I couldn't even finish chapter 82 before giving up in sheer disgust. The introduction of NTR and the MC's despicable actions in destroying a happily married couple with a young child is absolutely repulsive. I had initially hoped the author would refrain from turning the MC into a homewrecker, but instead, they chose to have him meticulously manipulate and seduce the married woman into an affair. To make matters worse, the story expects readers to root for this detestable character. This is a clear indication of the author's complete lack of a moral compass. If you're going to include such reprehensible content, at least have the decency to put an NTR tag on your book! I am thoroughly disgusted and have decided to drop this novel immediately. The MC is truly despicable, and such a character deserves nothing less than a fitting demise in any other story.

LIKENot at all. To be honest I think you should delete your comment replying to the initial review since he would have read it by. now and it’s served it’s purpose. I just read the comment and thought the POV’s we got ifrom her in retrospect didn’t match. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to reply :)
Good idea. I have deleted it. Delete the comment I replied to as well so people have no idea what we talking about😹
so imma ask is the mc a decent guy cause i can't read it if he isn't i can handle edgy mc in medieval world but modern world is to much like our world so it just feels wrong to see mc destroy a working couple just cause he can so he must have a reason for doing what the guy above said most likely mental and physical abuse
Unfortunately he ruined that couple's marriage only because he needed a sexual distraction.
In fact, doing so was hypocritical because the main reason he did it is to avoid ruining a family only to ruin another family.
I can only enjoy Netori if the MC is taken from an abusive partner. Other than that, nothing justifies it in my eyes.
tell me, i skipped to chapter 82 BUT PLEASE DONT TELL ME HE DID SOMETHING WITH MS JONES
Well from what i understood , the fact that the author said wait i will explain the reason later means that the protagonist doesn't know that they're not doing well and he choose NTR then by luck found out they're doing bad. To me it's the same thing , the protagonist is still a homewrecker simply cuz he didn't know the reason when doing ntr.
true to some points, but you could also argue that the only reason the woman is looking outside the marriage for love is because of how her husband/boyfriend is treating her. The Mc could be in the wrong if it's something small, but if her partner is beating her, I don't think it's homewrecking. But if it's because of something like her husband working too much, then yeah, it's homewrecking.
Is this worth reading?
