Normally, Chinese authors who set their novels in the US get a lot of things wrong. But it’s usually that they just stick Chinese culture and norms into the US. And while that’s definitely the case here (things like bowing, the concept of “face”, restaurants all have private rooms, etc), the author goes so far as to not even know where Hollywood even is. Here’s a hint: Hollywood is not in New York City. Don’t waste your time on this wish-fulfillment dumpster fire. You’ll regret it if you do, and that’s time you’ll never get back.

You are doing a great job by translating this novel but it's good to stick to one name for the MC instead of alternating between Ethan, Don and Tang it causes typos which reduces interest in the novel.

i was pleasantly surprised that the world building for the movies is quite realistic, other than making Holywood at NYC it is a pretty good story, i really like how the MC make a good movie becomes a franchise because i can see it happening, even if some scene is a bit unbelieveable it is better than a lot of translated stuff in this website

Your translated chapters in patreon are less than what I expected. Especially when this is a translated version. You shoud see sayonara and innit translators. Few in webnovels but many in their patreons.
