Yeah no, this is literally just a whole Chinese gas lighting up to the fullest. Like imagine knowing the whole plot yet expecting you can change something, hell in the story the fmc left for a while before they were married (meaning she met the original Mc a while and the plot happened) yet the mc just started to simp his way to a broken heart. All in all there’s too much male supremacy and stupid mindset of the Mc, legit wanted to commit my own death after realizing that this is more of a revenge on cheaters that aren’t cheaters.

MC started simping after the marriage. Xun'er could've flatly refused the proposal instead of going through it but she married him anyways. Also it's a Chinese fic, so obviously drama and a bit of face-slapping is a given lol.
