The writing is good Characters are good but I don’t feel like anyone other than MC will ever get fleshed out It feels like the MC will never loose, which if you like I guess that’s good but otherwise it’s bad Battles are unique and nice which is its strong suit The pokemon the mc uses don’t feel fleshed out To be honest the story is alright it’s good but it could be way better There is a lot of potential in the novel but it is all ruined because of the system. now to people who like system still hear me out. I like systems but only when they are given to mc who either need them or make it interesting. The MC does not need the system he is the sun of a billionaire and posses unique ability(which I am okay with since other people in the world posses them). He does need the system in anyway Honestly to put it into my perspective In one of the latest chp someone goes “wow I wonder how he got so strong it’s so unfair , I wonder who thought him”. And I was like the system the system is literally spoonfeeding him. The novel is so close to perfection, if you want to read for wish fulfillment read it. It’s a really good novel if that’s what you are searching for

I'm fine with some systems in fanfics but this one feels the most arbitrary We were able to see some results of the MC's labor with his battle with Gary Then the system just instantly comes in and it'll make many of the MC's future battles somewhat pointless (I used to be a person who didn't care if the mc used a system but with the flood of systems everywhere and many of them just (as you say) spoon-feeding the MC's everything they can want and more but that gets tiring after the 100th time)

THIS IS A GOOD POKEMON FANFIC. This seems like a original concept. So I will point out the facts: 1. I can't comment on updaterate of the chapters because as of this review, the chapters read were in Mass Release. Everything else seems good to me. 2. Concept is great. seemed to be an transmigrated story without Systems. 3. interesting idea concept especially with the mc being a gym leader of a declining gym.

It begins with a great start. Bonus gym Gary Oak went against, with an isekai protag. Sadly, it devolves into "system" slop quite fast. The story didn't even need it in the first place as a counter type gym would actually be a fascinating read, but instead we get shortcuts through the beginning where instead of character development we get menus and stuff from doing basic things the MC would have done anyways. Also, we get the regular intelligence debuff for Canon characters that is all too common in this type of story.

The premise is good. Writing is ok. But the 'System' mechanic came out of nowhere, there wasn't even a tag for it. I expected the gym leader mc use his meta-knowledge to his advantage, which he still uses, but those moments feel shallow when he literally uses short-cuts with his System. And the exaggerated female praising is just plain cringe. It's like the author written it with one hand... I certainly hope he wouldn't be one of those mc that treats men different from fem just to show he's the toxic 'alpha male'.... Toxic gym leader I mean.
