Too add, I tried reading and I dropped at chapter 3. 1. No memories. They are not blocked or anything, he just never heard of DxD. 2. He did die like Isse but the author wrote it much better, the MC is not stupid. He went with the fallen despite knowing something is weird (not knowing supernatural is real), just assumed she is a gold digger or something because he has lots of money. 3. The MC didn't just die, he performed well and fought back, even severely harmed the fallen with his sacred gear. 4. I feel the author wrote Rias kinda evil (certainly impacted by other fanfictions and not canon), ie she knew he will die (real canon she was summoned after the fact), she certainly seemed (from her way of talking and thoughts) like she considered herself his master (the word she used) Not sure if the author went for #4 or it just very much seemed that way but that what ended it for me, I just don't care to even try further, enough other novels to read.

same in both canon and this rias knew the fallen were targeting them and in this she shows up right after the fight ended. im out as well getting tired of seeing mc's that become slaves

facts she knew the fallen angels were in her city waited until issei died then got summoned and barely anybody questions it

no that's fanon while she knew there were fallen she had no clue what they were doing and she didn't plan Issei's death or know that he even had a sacred gear (people made up that fanon because they couldn't fathom rias giving a random nobody one of her evil pieces and just getting lucky with issei)

explain her familiar giving issei her summoning or when she already knew he would be on a date than😑😑 either that or she really is a terrible defender there were strays and fallen all around her territory

The familiar was just doing the job of handing out summoning slips to complete the quota, it was just a coincidence that issei received a slip. Rias only knew that issei was going on a date, she didn't know that it was a fallen angel because of the increase in fallen angel and rouge devils keeping her busy.

first of all her familiar gives them out to anyone (ajuka's back has to be heavy from keeping the supernatural a secret) issei grabbed it because it was a cut girl second rais and sona do a decent job since they literally get rid off the fallen the next week (btw fallen don't normally act like this they're supposed to be passive aggressive at worst not this) and we literally see like 2 stray devils in kuoh so it usually safe just admit that fanon has changed how you remember the story and maybe reread the first volume of the LN

There were political reasons why she couldn't deal with Fallen angels unless they damaged or killed anyone in her territory. There were talks of peace pact and she didn't want to start a war as she's the sister of a Demon Lord and her actions could have significant impact. She knew Fallen angels were interacting with Issei but her thoughts were along the line of them recruiting him. She gave him summoning pamphlet as a fail check in case something goes wrong. She never knew they wanted to kill him. Plus she only knew that he had sacred gear but didn't know which one. She was already planning on recruiting him before Raynare approached him. She literally did not need Issei to die so she could recruit him as he would have jumped at the chance of becoming a demon and having Harem.
