I read up to chapter 90, and I think the worst thing about this fic is the lack of personality of the MC. Japanese fanfics have this flaw; I don't know why. They create a fanfic with immense potential, plan various scenarios within the fic to make a cool conclusion, but the personality, which is the main aspect, is lacking. And I'm not just talking about this fic; most of the ones I read in MTL are like this. They make the protagonist's dialogue sarcastic. I'll cite an example from one of the chapters I took: "It is senior. Just like Hanzo-sensei, Danzo-senpai is also someone I respect. Danzo-senpai also provided many plans to seize power and helped me become the leader of the Akatsuki organization. He was a friendly and good senior. He ran very fast when we last met, otherwise, I would still like to reminisce with him. After all, he ran away too quickly." Without him, I probably wouldn't be the leader of the Akatsuki organization now." (Yes, this was supposed to be sarcasm from the MC right after Danzo tried to kill him in an ambush, which logically failed.) So I don't need to say much; in terms of personality, the MC is very lacking. He has no motivation to become stronger, no real connection with other characters, and no one he romantically likes. It seems like he only lives for his system. If it weren't for the poor development of the MC, this fic could be first-rate because the details are very good. If the author who is translating would change and create a new fic based on this one, adding more details and better dialogues, it could be better.

LIKEIt seems like his love interest is his own system because he literally only lives to gain new cheats from the system. And you might ask me why he wants to get stronger? I'd like to know that too…
Believe it or not, you will find that 90% of fanfics with nearly perfect characters and no romance make it to the top of the list. Why? Because people prefer it that way. Comments like "The main character (MC) is beta, the MC is spineless, there's too much drama, forced romance, and unnecessary comedy" are common when authors try to give their MCs some personality. Before this current fanfic, the author wrote two more Naruto fanfics, but they weren't well-received due to the inclusion of romance and drama. Take "Fate/Against Fight" as an example. The MC is a drama queen, and you would see similar comments. However, once the story concluded, people loved the ending.
Well he is 12 when i am reading and forcing romance might be a little... As for why he wants to get stronger? Well its pretty much given since author now tends to leave it to people imagination that it was a given. Like in isekai stories, authors now don't bother to explain what isekai is. Its obvious that mc will receive a cheat, get stronger, get cardboards (women) and so on.
Na, no romance in Naruto? That's like eating cheese burger with no cheese. Understand? Now then tell me what you understand, because I basically don't... A little romance won't hurt, Translator kun... Since he's in Akatsuki, why not Konan?
Only in Japanese fics. I’ve read practically most of the top-ranked ones, and they didn’t have this flaw. It’s fine if the author doesn’t want to create a love interest—many don’t like that—but I’m complaining about the lack of personality. It’s not wrong to say that if the MC isn’t a well-crafted character, the story is practically ruined. Up to where I’ve read, the character is 14 years old and hasn’t had any personal development. And no, I completely disagree with the idea that wanting to get stronger is a given. If the MC doesn’t have an objective, there’s no reason to get stronger, even if it’s a silly objective. In my opinion, there has to be one, otherwise it makes no sense. I’m sad because the story has a lot of potential.
Konan I can understand because she likes Yahiko in the original work, so she will probably like him in this fic as well. But Karen, Karin's mother in the original, is a good character.
well I have put my perspective and I am not asking for you to agree or not. All I am saying is that author writes what majority wants. Personality? As long MC can solve all crisis its good to go. That's what most people like. I also agree that MC lack personality but thats how it is. As for his motivation to get stronger, if you read many Chinese novels, it is base assumption that readers wants MC stronger. In Naruto world, its much given how cruel the world is and hence MC wants to be stronger. BUT I will try to write some more perspective so that story would get interesting.
And if you want to find more, read comments on fics about Mc's personality, especially Chinese comments. They are ruthless when it comes to hating something. You have fallen Vtuber as example. So Chinese authors usually play save.
Well, people like romance, drama, and all that, but many authors don't know how to work it into their plot. So, the readers feel offended because they know what the author is planning and think they are being taken for fools by forcing the issue. That's why many dislike it. Others are simply immature and want to see the MC foolishly sleeping with all the girls he meets along the way like a true sigma 🤣, but that's another thing XDD.

I always want to find good Naruto fanfiction with Konan as love interest but sadly only ending up with good one with love interest either Tsunade or Kushina never able to find one with Konan

literally 90% of Naruto fanfic I found that good just started with Tsunade as love interest if not then is Kushina. Sure Tsunade and Kushina are great and all but yo Tsunade literally old enough to be the mc mum I'm not judging since everyone has their own interests but yo every Naruto love interest is with Tsunade. Kushina well she took 30% of Naruto fanfic i found the rest of 70 is Tsunade

Why is it that most love interests are either Tsunade or Ino? And even worse, if the MC is Tsunade's student, they automatically get turned into a love interest. I just want to read one fanfic with a genuinely platonic teacher-student relationship for once!
