Shameless review here. Greetings everyone. Path of War both is and isn't your typical adventure story. Arthur Bennet, our main protagonist, is a devout Christian. This alone is enough to tell you there will be quotes taken directly from the King James Version Bible. It's important to note from the outset that this isn't anime fan fiction. To be exact, it's not fan fiction at all. While the setting is based on the popular Naruto franchise, the story takes a sharp turn into a brutal survival tale. Once our main character participates in a groundbreaking VR experience offered by Elysium, a high-tech company, his excitement quickly fades as he discovers a horrifying truth: the pain within the simulation is agonizingly real, despite assurances of a light pain response. Now thrown into this virtual prison, he's going to try his best to escape by becoming the world's main villain. The story as a whole is crafted as a suspenseful narrative that explores the dark side of virtual reality as well as man's true evil nature. We see the main character grappling with this new world, forced to adapt and fight for survival in a world that's foreign to him. If you're looking for a lighthearted adventure, this story isn't for you. However, if you enjoy thrillers with a touch of science fiction and an anti-hero protagonist thrust into extraordinary circumstances, then this might be a book worth checking out. Just be prepared for excellent story-telling and multiple characters to help drive the plot. Last but not least, please, for what sanity is left in this world, read the preface!

Wizened:Hello author Akito, it's refreshing to see that instead of writing a review right when you posted your story, you waited until there were a reasonable number of chapters to base the review on.
