I have a question why do all Chinese novels go for Cho Chang and Hermoine. I can somewhat understand Hermoine as she's "Emma Watson" even though she has many negative qualities but I don't know one redeeming quality about Cho Chang except being Chinese.

I actually have some input here lol, it doesn’t really matter but alot of chinese people are super dissatisfied with cho’s actress because she’s supposed to be a chinese super beauty but the actress chosen for her doesn’t match up to the chinese peoples traditional chinese beauty aesthetics or whatever you want to call it, personally i think cho is pretty good looking but actually agree that an actress matching the chinese aesthetics would be more beautiful, realistically speaking though i think that any actress like that would have rejected working in the film at the time, then later heavily regretted it

My bad i forgot to finish my thought about why they’re fixated on cho, basically the only thing left to say is that they input a girl more beautiful by traditional Chinese aesthetics to “make up for the regret” i guess, Ive seen them saying something to this effect in several different novels authors notes translated by mtl

Honestly this translation makes me mad. It has a distinct lack of spacing and reads like someone took the raws ran them through a translator and maybe ran it through a grammar checker(can’t really tell honestly) then posted it without checking to see if any of it made sense in context. Then they have the balls to ask for money for something I would pay to unread.
