The bad parts of the worst Chinese novels, put into the Marvel universe. There Alot of cutaways to people reacting about the MC for faceslapping. The bad guys send just enough mooks that the MC can deal with. The MC is weirdly arrogant at random times out of nowhere. He infodumps spoilers to Wolverine about the X-men movies even though he doesn't even know exactly which universe he is in.

Yep. Reminds of me of hp stories where they appear and already are certain Dumbledore is evil and black magic is ministry propaganda it's actually fine to use and etc etc etc.
I find it funny that these characters try to justify dark magic, as if a spell made exclusively for torture was the least bit understandable, or a spell of instant death,

an instant, painless death can't be used to painlessly and quickly kill someone? I would be using it for enemies I didnt know, while saving the other cruel ones for more personal kills. But yeah, some are definitely a no excuse spell lol
