It’s a great novel i just hate Magus, Amoria and the mc.For example he didn’t even do anything when found out that his scum of a BESTFRIEND (Magus the hero) was sleeping with his girl. And no one in the party even told him what was happening. And now the girls from his former party are probably going to be throwing themselves at him. The only reason they’re doing that is because Magus is dead. And he’s not even mad, so you should get why a lot of people hate mc. Hes just not likable. I like your other novels but the mc in this one I loathe I only read this because I wanted him to get revenge after getting cucked by his bestfriend. And he doesn’t even act coldly when he meets his party members again, he just acts like their his friends that he hasn’t seen in a long time. But what kind of friends doesn’t tell you that your girlfriend is sleeping with your boyfriend Does he have no sense of pride, no self respect. He even realized that Alicia the demon queen was just trying a new method but noo he’s to much of a coward to go back and confront. And instead he goes back to that thot Amoria. It’s honestly pathetic.

It isn’t necessarily a bad novel, it’s just not my type and it’s really hard for me to read this. I just don’t get it, why isn’t he mad at them. There’s a limit to how far kindness can go. Hes a pushover. I feel like no matter what anyone of them would do to him he would always forgive them. And Amoria doesn’t she feel any once of shame, she first cheated and left him for the hero and when the hero dies she goes back to him. She’s honestly scum. But hey it’s your novel, you do you man. But I’m just saying that every single party member is scum and while some people might blame the hero’s blessings for keeping their mouth shot it still doesn’t excuse their behavior for keeping their mouth shut

I appreciate your honest review. Allow me to give you my take. Van is in a world where he has a passive that makes everyone distrust him. Magus would be the main character in said world with all his unfair stuff. he used his abilities to help Vam escape being a punching bag for the knights, so he also owes him for taking him along. Van has lived a majority of his life in that world being untrusted, dying repetitively, and being betrayed. he most likely isn't new to betrayal given his passive. He was so broken when Alicia did it, because he didn't expect her to do that, majorly because she was a demon who isn't supposed to be affected by buffs and passives. Now, while Van cared about Amoria, he also cared about his friend. He didn't want to leave him because he seemed really desperate. that and also because he owes him. Now, put yourself in the shoes of his friend. he has passives that he can't control. he really did not want to ruin Van's love life. he even mentions he purposely went somewhere private to mourn a party member that died so that his Passive wouldn't affect Amoria. Amoria found him by chance, and it happened. he was emotionally vulnerable, so he didn't have the strength to refuse. as for the rest of the girls, pay attention. With ALL of Magus's buffs, one of them still cared enough to offer Van to join them. They really did care about him, but they physically couldn't be on his side while they were a party because they just couldn't control their own feelings due to his friend's passives. with Magus dying, they now have control of said feelings. Van understands this, so he has nothing to pay Magus back for. why would he go for revenge over something Magus had no control over? Magus was surrounded by beautiful women, so much, in fact, that he was overwhelmed. in the first 2 or 3 chapters he even insisted not to add any new girl members if you recall, because that was just too much for him. Amoria and the rest really did miss Van. Because with Magus gone, they can now process their feelins for Van and their regrets. And Van, (at least at the latest chapter) was just after an emotional breakdown. He needs company. And who's better than people who can fully understand him and his pain? Thats quite frankly irrelevant, his girl was stolen from him and all he said was "I dont blame you for picking him" or whatever it was its been a few, a lot of people are coming from your Anti-NTR novel keep tht in mind and this situation is exactly what your other novels MC fights against.

And what's more, there was that whole drama where something like some illusion happened in his head but he practically left it aside?
