Ok read the whole thing. Pretty good the early premis was quite fun, the story stayed mostly stable till close to the end even with the rank inflation that always shows up n these stories. The author did “finish” the book but considering all the loose ends it’s more like wrote a ending to the book. Techincally. Guess it could be set for a sequel, but unless that happens I had to take a star off of the story for the unsatisfying way it ended. Not much better than a “ well we are out of time so let’s end this with a he crushed he big boss and they lived happily ever after the end.” And no that’s not the actual ending…. Though it is close.

I like this webnovel not because it's kind of generic into/basic plot line. but because the way the author writes it. there is no consistent petty misunderstandings or the FML getting kidnapped every other chapter. yes the MC does run into problems. there are fights, face slapping and kidnappings. but after it gets resolved you get time to see the characters develop in their roles, relationships and their family. anyway the only reason I put 4 stars on translation is due to the constant gender swapping of she/he that kind of thing. it's a little more annoying when you are just meeting a character or it's been a while since you've seen them.

this is really good novel to read so far

Start a great it could be super good, but the author brings all kinds of random stuff in all over the place and then the female lead is utterly obnoxious. Doesn’t even need to be existing. She could go away in the story would be great. The male lead is super stupid and slow to react with the little being in triuble all of the time

The entire novel is cliche. It’s basically paint by numbers, to the point that there’s absolutely no entertainment in reading it if you’ve ever read an “immortal is reborn on earth” novel. The FL starts out particularly obnoxious. She had a one night stand with the MC, then disappeared off to America and completely ditched him for five years. Then she has the audacity to blame him for not being a father to their daughter. Seriously, the hell is wrong with authors who write that garbage? On top of that, the sheer number of misunderstandings caused by the MC’s absolute refusal to ever say anything at all (because the five directions heavenly emperor never explains himself) makes for extremely forced plots and pointless drama. Then there’s a bunch of dropped plot threads holding everything together in one big tangled skein of yarn. Overall, don’t waste coins on this garbage. There are much better novels in the same vein that have actually been completed, not just hastily wrapped up because the author got bored.
