I also agree with you about reading about people with some sense of justice is annoying, but you stopped reading before getting to that part so let me quote a situation that will happen in the story. In a certain special circumstance, in which the protagonist and some companions were immersed in an intense combat with their lives at risk for several moments, sensing a mortal danger coming from an attack unknown to his detection Gu, the protagonist without hesitation grabbed a companion using a team as a meat shield to protect himself from an attack (She used a defensive Gu) that with absolute certainty he could not resist alone, he survived the attack by this quick and cruel action and after feeling relieved to be alive, remembering of his companion he turned and her legless corpse and her horrified face as she was betrayed and killed for the sake of an ally, he felt a bit of pity but no remorse as it could have been him in the state she was in. He may have said he didn't want to exterminate his family like an old demon like Fang Yuan did but so what? So far he has not faced a situation where exterminating them would give him a direct benefit, unlike Fang Yuan who could increase his aptitude with such an action. In no situation did he demonstrate a strong sense of justice or attempt to help or provide assistance to any other person's needs if it would not give him any benefit. I think it's a shame not to read it just because he's not an extreme like Fang Yuan who has no emotional ties or attachment to anyone, since, you know, a villain can be a villain even if not exactly Fang Yuan, Fang Yuan is a villain but Not every villain is like Fang Yuan. This fanfiction certainly isn't perfect, but it's good enough.

I don’t disagree with you on the circumstances but the quote “ I am not a saint but I ain’t so and so” has been used in so many novels with the villain tag where the mc isint even a villain just a mischevious child at best, and I have grown to hate that line with the amount of reading I have done, as for villains not being fang yuan, I agree, mc’s can be villains just not fang yuan, as they can be chaotic evil and so on, but I truly don’t believe that the action you listed above is the act of a villain but the act of an anti hero as he did it for survival, this mc is willing to take risks because of mercy and in my book that ain’t a villain, but since he is willing to toss that mercy aside when he needs to for survival he is more of anti hero, I have no problem with the book inistlef, I just beieve the author should change the tag from villain to anti hero since it is more accurate

It’s to drop reviews, I have no clue what your problem is when I am literally using the reviews to drop my expierence with the novels, in no way did I tell him to be devastated with him loosing a reader I just dropped my honest expierence with the novel for others to read.
