This world is based on Taoism and the variants live longer and have natural talent from them respective paths. I think it is more than fair they being idiots, and only some of them, their elite, possess human intelligence.
No this world is very different from the story version. In this world their was no racism, all the variant humans got along, and the variant humans weren't dumb. They got along enough to deal with a common enemy... fate gu and heaven's will. This is interesting. His "gold finger" is not exaggerated, but unfortunately necessary in a world like the Guy World. The story's pace is neither slow nor too quick.
