It will be better explained in future chapters! The next one will already show some of it. His Flaw was only explained that badly to keep in line with G3’s vague and useless Spell descriptions 😂 But basically, a mind fragment of the Secret One - the Eldritch being that took him to the Shadow Slave world - will fight him over control of his body once transformed into his “intrinsic form”. I won’t say anymore to not spoil it. Good readings!

That's the reason his Aspect is ranked as Unholy, instead of Divine. As for your other question, no, the Secret One is not an Unknown. It is a Lovecraftian eldritch god.

It’s tough to write any kind of fanfiction of Shadow Slave as the original is a one of a kind. However this fanfiction does an incredible job of living up to the hype of the OG. It’s a bit faster pace which is honestly great in my opinion, and the author does a great job with the main character and original characters like Sunny Cassie and Nephis. 10/10
