it's a good story decently paced with some rougher areas around world building. my biggest gripe is the ages thing. everyone lives to 10,000. what ages is it normal for people to have children in the world the main character is interacting with people at minimum 1,300 but none of them have kids even though they mature at 18 it seems.

LIKEThank you for the review!! The age thing seems a bit odd, yes. I'll agree that I think maybe I might've made a mistake with it, but I'm sticking to it! I'd like to think that children are hard to create with powerful cultivations and early on I feel like I do have lots of kids at the start of the story as he meets them. There's also times I've more recently mentioned how the lightning sect in the current arc on was still constantly recruiting with their monthly escorts that occasionally got attacked. There's also been the signs of the children and whatnot in the story with the Drow too, but I've definitely not really made that my focus as the story is still building. I also personally want to focus more on the action side of things but would want to eventually have a better family story for the main character and interactions with that later. For my own reasoning, if it helps explain my thought process here, the biggest aspect of the lack of the children in the world building is, Lassim is suddenly given uncapped potential and no limiters to his power. He's climbing stage after stage where he wouldn't spent his time with people the same age and similar problems at the beginning. Instead, he's forced to relate and gain knowledge from the "old monsters" as he's quickly reaching or overtaking them in power based on the plan the gods have for Lassim. Lassim HAS to gain power quickly for what problem the universe is going to throw at him and he can't stay in the cradle with all the other babies. All that said, it does indeed create a massive imbalance and I'll see if I can try and incorporate more world building into it to rectify this. It's my first novel so some aspects I personally don't care for as much have definitely slipped my mind as writing action stuff and powering up and fighting big battles is so much more fun. I'll need to do better. Thank you so much for the reflection as it's definitely an area I'm lacking!
