LIKEIt's been a while since I updated Dual Cultivation and I have an announcement to make. Most of you are probably wondering why I haven't been updating DC. There are several reasons. One, due to the long breaks between chapters, I am having difficulties keeping track of events that I wrote years ago, and if I continue carelessly, major plotholes would be inevitable. Two, after rereading some of the earlier chapters, I realized how rushed they were and noticed some errors and inconsistencies. Lastly, which is the biggest reason, is simply because I am having difficulties writing/planning the plot because of how expansive I subconsciously made it. Dual Cultivation was created on a whim, and I have just been following the flow without much planning if any at all. It's a miracle I made it this far, to be completely honest. If I continue this novel at this pace, it will most likely never see the end, or it will become too trash to enjoy. Naturally, since I have made it all the way here, I don't want to simply give up and drop this novel. Therefore, I will continue writing this novel with a small caveat. I will take some time to reread the whole novel, and at the same time, start a new novel that will focus on Su Yang's life prior to his reincarnation(a prequel). This will not only help me with this novel's future plot but also give you, the readers, more Dual Cultivation without waiting for too long. I have always wanted to dive deeper into Su Yang's past life, and I see this as a chance. If you are still somehow reading this novel, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Thank you for the support and sorry for the inconvenience.
Slow_down:can you tell what was the announcement ?
Thanks

Imagine the author casually writing it and it has the highest number of collections in the platform. and us readers don't realize the flaw that he mentioned.

Many people stopped spending money on it because it almost never got any updates/seemed dropped. So them not seeing that announcement isn’t surprising. Although if is nice to see that the author is doing a prequel while going back over Dual Cultivation with the intention of eventually actively working on it again in the near future. Hopefully that actually happens. Thanks for sharing the author’s update.
Levifnl:if you have read the last chapter of DC you would’ve seen the announcement for this and the reason why he started this🤷♂️
