I find it funny that despite this story being in 1,8k collections, no one has commented on how 80% of it, whether its the plot or the sentences,is completly plagiarized on the fanfiction Annihilation maker DXD by Soul Caliber, the dxd part of the ff I mean, minus the well made chat room, the chad mc and the decent context behind the plot direction (there aren't any real transitions most things happen at the academy). I usually don't bother writting comment as I honestly don't care about these kind of story, they don't last long anyway. I gave it a chance based on the stats, it honestly was a waste of time and I would rather avoid a few more fellow readers to waste their time here as well, as the author is only teasing the single interessing plot change (imagine breaker) in between the plagiarism. Go watch the original work instead.

I didn't mistake anything, even if he slightly changed some sentences, many other are straight up copy pasted without modifications. He began stealing since chapter 2. I don't know about the rest of the fic, I stop reading after a dozen or so chapter and not long after the 'author' asked how imagine breaker should affect devils, the guy doesn't even know what to do with his idea...

wait so the only reason why u say the fanfic is similar to annihilation maker bc it's similar to JoJo bro that's a very minor difference bro this fanfic nothing like annihilation maker by soul caliber , the mc of annihilation maker is completely different from this fanfic mc , the annihilation maker mc is the exact representation of what if sasuke from naruto had adhd and was a psychopath who is also very annoying , the mc of this fanfic is a unlucky lovable idiot who just whats some peace in his life plus this story doesn't even have the chat group which was backbone of the annihilation maker fanfic , even if u really saw something similar at most it would be an inspiration not a copy

bro the only similarity btw the mc and touma is that they share the generic shounen protagonist traits and they both have imagine breaker , it's not a big deal

i know how u feel but him revealing his ability isn't necessarily a bad idea , it's more like gamble that could have a huge pay off , u are looking at this from the perspective of someone who has read fanfic where the main character has op abilities they can develop on their own without help . The mc of this fanfic isn't the same as other mcs , bc of imagine breaker he can't use magic and it's highly likely he can't use ki as well , and he can't gain any new abilities on his own like other mcs , his can't get stronger associating with rias and sona is a smart decision it guarantees him protection and the resources needed to possibly to control his imagine breaker . Hiding your ability from rias or sona is a very dumb idea if u actually want to get stronger

I understand what you are saying. I was rather invested in the story at the start as I don't personally like op mc. I also have no problem of him becoming a peerage member of either of them as it is the most logical choice for a non op mc.but the problem lies in how the author handles this situation first he for no reason plays along with raynare and leaves her be for azazel and other fallens to track him then he goes on to reveal his secret to rias and Sona who in turn would have to inform this anomaly to their siblings which is equivalent of telling the us president about the existence of oil in some small unprotected country.

so how should he have handled the situation bc I can't think of any other way he should have handled plus if sona or rias told sirzechs or serafall , what kind of big deal would that have made , both of them hate offending there siblings so is very unlikely they would do anything bad to the mc the most they would do is talk to him , also if he didn't go along with raynare wouldn't they just find another way to get to him , plus like it was said in the book the mc who has onky faced misfortune his entire life and whats somebody attention i doubt someone like that woukd think clearly
