It's not even being a pushover I wouldn't kill someone who tries to kill me if I have the ability. meaning if an mma fighter attacks me I'm not going to shy away from using whatever as a weapon to survive. if someone ordinary does the same ill knock him out or something like that and call the police. currently he is in no position to ensure that frieren a literal war hero that saved the world as far as I know gets detained and stays detained. so now that she happens to die its unfortunate but what guarantee do I have she won't try to end me the minute she wakes up. and what ability does he have make a much of her calibre is and stay incapacitated long enough to reason with her. yeah none so why try to save her

My point is: if you're going to write a fanfic in the original Naruto story, in the standard timeline with Naruto in it, for the love of God, don't create a romantic OC interest. Actually, don't create any OC characters, just the protagonist if you want. Why? Because there's no way you're a better writer than Kishimoto (or the original author of the fic you are writing). Not to mention that people don't need to think too much or pay much attention when reading about characters they've already seen in anime/manga. I can only speak for myself as an aspiring writer who never actually posts his ideas. but when I get an idea for a fanfiction It can be for a character that I think had more potential than the original work showed. whether in terms if writing or their powerset. but often it's because its a interesting world. I mean common its a fantasy world even If you want to immerse yourself in one character who then dates your favourite waifu. you can't say as a fellow reader you aren't also excited to visit hogwarts, be able to use chakra through the character, fight in the world martial arts tournament and if there are more character aside from the Canon ones good character that make you glad you can explore hogwarts with them, giddy you can learn their jutsu that didn't exist in the original show, and get your bloodboiling observing them fight in the tournament with powers or abilities that blow your mind or even fighting them yourself and wondering with the powerset the character i am immersing myself in has how could he beat that person. through someone else eyes I get to meet people I always wanted to meet, experience cultures I always wanted to experience, visit places I always wanted to visit. and then I can also meet people I never wanted to meet but are just as amazing or horrible as these I wanted to know about. experience culture that make me wish they were real or glad im only reading about it and visit places wich I never want to leave or can't wait to leave. And these can be just as cool as Tsunade , just as interesting as the Elemental nations, and just as horrible as Gotham city. that's what reading is for me so even if I read fanfiction and just one of these things change whether the characters, the culture or the place as long as its good I'd still be excited to experience all these things alongside the protagonist(s)

I think you mistook this for something else. this a Story about the supposedly reincarnation? of Kamijou Touma its completely different from Annihilation maker. as far as I'm concerned and what do you mean the inly difference is that there's no group chat. that's a massive difference since that is the main part driving the Story forward in Annihilation Maker

and original authors are often hyped up to the Max. I mean you honestly can't tell me the average person who reads can't think of more interesting characters than reki kawahara. and even in very good manga or light novel it happens all the time that authors have flawed secondary characters or even main characters that others think had a lot of potential so they make them an ooc or make an oc based on that

I don't agree with this it's not that Common but but you can write better characters than the original author and if it's a matter of meshing in properly with the Story you don't need to follow the original authors lead just make it so the ocs mush with the Story you want to tell

I wasn't going to lie, their lives sounded rough, and I would probably do something to help them out regardless of how things went, but a sob story wasn't reason enough for me to let this girl into my peerage. There were some incredibly powerful people in this world that I remembered from my first life. I didn't have a cohesive list of everyone I wanted in my peerage, but I did have a general outline of potential choices. The name 'Yubelluna' wasn't on it.
