The story is great, read the first arc, the mc just ticks me off time to time. He’s a hypocrite, hates corruption and bashes on those who do illegal things but then gets a Pokémon illegally. Dislikes the people that has helped and kept him safe because they do illegal activities Being from a city or region that’s like Gotham. It’s like hating Spiderman and Batman because they are vigilantes. Not to mention he’s a child bashing on adults that can kill him any time and they just let it happen. What I don’t get is that a rotomdex exsits but there’s never been an Electivire before?

There is actually a plot point regarding your doubts buddy. You are a deep thinker.
Honestly even later in the fic, the adults don't get any better. All the adults are either glazing him for being a genius or acting like children themselves. For instance, in chapter 18 the cerulean city gym leader calls Flint a cuck in a televised match with the MC who is somewhat famous. Any political figure doing this would have a scandal yet he's acting like a rage bait influencer. This is a shame because other than this it's a pretty great fic so far.
