Well, I got it from Google Images. Since there wasn't any text on it, I didn't know it was from a real novel. Besides, I was already planning to have an original cover made; I just needed the main part, the money to pay an artist for it, as I didn't want to use AI to create it.

You can read without worrying; Edward won't do that, especially since they never truly had an interest in the real protagonist. What will happen is that Edward will start liking the heroines eventually as he interacts with them. As he wanted to be a secondary character, he didn't intend to end up with such important characters.

He tries to do that, but soon gives up because he's already drawing attention from others for other reasons, and in case you're worried about him being intentionally beaten up to hide his power, that doesn't happen in the story, since he didn't want to be the worst, he just wanted to stay average, not too strong nor too weak, but as I said, he gave up on that idea.
