His only real friends dont betray him. hes not suoee kind repaying someone when you wrong them in a ruthless world is a good strategy not to bread enemys. Plus he’s not super naive he is just adjusting to a cultivation world from his previously peaceful earth life and of course yhat happens slowly if hes just cultivating pills all the time. The main fault of the mc is not getting more skills and to become more well rounded as he can level them up initially in like a day or two and at that level he wont be able to do them at ultra genius levels but atleast he will have a huge bag of tricks to fall back on if he gets into weird situations

Ive only read up to chp 31 so i cant actually say if his two real sevt friends betray him later in the story so that point still holds but the rest of them are not as bad as state but if you dont like that kind of story you wont like this story

I changed my mind I had given it 3 stars before but this is hot garbage as i read more raws. Author keeps making new enemies out of thin air, snatches away MC s things to make it look fair including opportunities and sorts and lots of consistency issues. If anyone has read gate of good fortune they will know what i am talking about

I ve read all chapters so far. And now I want to do a good review.Shortly, this mc has fire root and developing & earning money from alchemy job. But somehow using the money (spirit stones) for cultivation is purer way than using pills and elixirs. Using elixirs gave people less progress than 1 spirit coin. And the elixirs prices go from 5 to 50 spirit coins. Hmm and this guy is probably best alchemist under Elders who got foundation established level cultivation. and he doesnt even use his pills for cultivating. So annoying how author didnt even give an idea about using own pills. Mc lvl ups every 3 to 6 years and there are no friends. close door cultivation. somehow he requires some spirit coins to level up faster, so he goes out for selling pills and getting money.
