Well, I disagree. As an mtl reader myself I can say that the chapters I released here is more readable. As I translate the chapters with the help of an A.I (ChatGPT) and edit it afterwards, I can say that the chapters is much better than an MTL. Well, it's still (NMT) and there's still some error in sentences or names when using an A.I in translations, it's not perfect, that's why I still have to edit it out so it'll come out much better.

then i will give it a shot, there is just a rampant plague of mtls out there that were done in minutes just to raise the numbers which ruined the rest of the translated novels for me

nope just read 3 chapters, while grammatically correct it's not edited well, from an English point of view, who calls someone that is robbing them "boss"? there are a number of things that make it clearly Chinese, which is a shame as it's jarring to read words and expressions that arent at all used in the correct way, another example, they had a fierce look on their face. in my entire 29 years of life as a native English speaker I have never used the word "fierce" in a conversation. it's just jarring

And the mc's calling someone robbing them boss is actually quite common here in Asia or atleast in my country, it's because a person were too scared so he or she will just beg in a way by referring a robber/criminal who is threatening them 'Boss' or 'Sir', as they're too scared for their life.

i know what it means, but nobody in an English setting will do that that's the problem, you said it yourself, in Asia it's normal, in the west it's beyond abnormal

You should read more MTL if you think not to read it immediately after knowing that it is Chinese, I see a lot of prejudice in your comment

I hope Chat GPT achieves even better translations in the coming months/years, never take credit from the author just because he uses Chat GPT, it's more work than we readers do

... seems a little suspicious that you immediately fall on racism to protect your point, there is a reason MTL has a bad reputation, because like it or not it's not due to it being Chinese, that's purely the coincidence, the problem is that it is being abused to pump out stories at a rapid pace... unfortunately Chinese novels seem to be the primary target and Chinese is one of the hardest languages to translate grammatically. the other issue is expressions and phrases, metaphors etc. like it or not but machine translation will not be able to get a good grasp on all the nuances of language, one might say that you have an editor editing the stories, but if the editor doesn't have a good grasp on those nuances it's back to square one.this is the reason why i tend to avoid MTL stories, they just happen to be Chinese.

Mtl has a bad reputation but you still shouldnt assume something is bad or not to your taste because its mtl. Also mtl means machine translated. This was machine translated but also edited by a human. Id say its more of tl then mtl
