The title is totally misleading. But aside from that it's a decent story. And before some salty fanatic weak MC lover rants, yes I am only here for a OP MC. I saw the name Shazam and I expected to see Shazam. Sue me. I didn't expect a 1/6th of Shazam. What the synopsis should make clear is that He will become something akin to Shazam at the very end of the story. He doesn't have any of those powers so to speak. Not at the moment. Might have in the distant future. WQ(4/5): Some dialogues and scene Sequences need work. A bit of randomness makes them a bit confusing. Aside from that decent grammar. The writing style suits me as well. Good job. Story Development and Character Design (3/5): Don't really like it, don't really hate it. I expected something and got totally something else. and not the good kind. Hence I'm disappointed. But anyways it's a good story for showing progression I guess. It's still too early on saying that tho as there's so few chapters. I just hope there are a few adventures he does as a fully powered Shazam in the end. It's unlikely but one can only hope. Updating Stability(5/5): It's apparently commissioned work. Don't know how that reflects but 5/5 for me. World background(4/5): Still many things left to explore and so far so good.

Tbh, I haven't read much of DC fanfics. And the ones I've read, most of them have not been that good either. There was one, "Rose of Death", which was interesting but I lost interest halfway through it for some reason.

this is not Shazam at all not even a little bit misleading title
Read it did not really like it a bit to weak and nerfed and way to serious for a good read maybe when it has more chapters and is a bigger book but for the current short story it does not work for it. People forget that Bruce Wayne in his regular life is fun and joking and in it he really has no actual reason to go the route he is so maybe after some more chapters come out my review might change and the reviews I’ pretty sure are fake they are all five star with like one that was not and if you check this sight you will see why that’ impossible and people gave it a 5 star review because “it’s Batman”. Maybee when it’s longer and I don’t have to worry about it drowning on as serious and then no more chapters I’ll read it again. For now tho it is to short to have the seriousness it has until it is deeper in the story and has actual reasons for the seriousness but at the moment I think the author should add some humor until he gets a reason for the seriousness and you are well into the story because then people are hooked and could see the progressive change

Hmm, yeah that’s true. I like the idea of the story, and really enjoyed reading the 1st consecutive ~15 chapters when I first started - thus, I’m continuing to read it. I agree it’s a little too serious, and it will likely be more enjoyable when it actually has a lot more chapters, lol.

No offense but that I am Bruce Wayne story is really bad at the moment. To each their own but the MC is just downright terrible. I sincerely hope it becomes better. As for now have a fun read my guy
