3.5/5 Writing is excellent but the story is extremely slowpaced for my taste, alot of MC's theatric while entertaining are cartoonish and have no logical explaination to them. Its also kinda silly that mc can only obtain exp during mission evaluation and every other fame and exp gathered between missions goes to waste. Unless author is planning to write thousand chapter fanfic this story is going nowhere with this level of increase in mc power or story development. Good enough for timepass read but not something to be invested because it'll definitely ends in disappointment.

LIKENot into OP mc tbh, but this one is too slow plotwise and it just doesnt work for fanfic genre. I'd enjoyed it immsensely if you were gonna write hundrend if not thousands chapter of this story but we both know thats not going to happen, I've never seen original ff that long. The most likely scenerio is, its gonna end in after a few of his heists without the story getting anywhere. Well, if you prove me wrong, i'll gladly remove this comment and leave a 5 star glowing recommendation with a month worth of powerstones.
well its not bad if you read it as slice of life with some adventure in between, I gave it 3.6 rating but WN don't show fraction so it came up 3 star here.
And then given the development of the story it will end up becoming op, only it will take some time. I find all the police investigations really cool and I hope he doesn't get caught by the bat family
Are you serious? A story about Phantom Kid Kaito is too cartoonish? The whole idea of a phantom theif is silly, let alone the fact that both Phantom Thief Kaito, and to an extent, batman, are extremely cartoonish in the first place. As for pace? Personally, I think it's perfect. I hate how fast many of the stories have gotten, giving you little attachment to anyone or anything. I just wish more time was spent building up the MC's relationships (not just romantic, though that would be good too).
