-- shameless 5 star review -- Just to clarify again, this is a translation of a chinese fanfic - I'm not the original author. The only reason I'm doing this is because the Omny1928 seems to have stopped updating his version and I wanted to keep reading the book. As for the story itself I think it's pretty decent, this is by the author (大海船) of - In This Hogwarts Without a Savior - My Hogwarts Has Major Problems - Harry Potter and the Source of Magic If you want me to translate those too, let me know.

Authors a robot. I refuse to believe they were born and had a childhood. If they were, then they'd realize their biggest mistake. The grammar is fantastic, the updating stability is astounding, and your verbiage is articulate. However, your writing comes off as desperate and void of any emotion. Everyone's words are so robotic and a sad attempt to be me more grandiose than the last that is comes off as faker than plastic with no real substance. Read this comment as an example. It started off simple, and then I just used bigger and bigger words to make it a not so simple comment. There's also the fact that the main characters are children. I refuse to believe every last one of these children (especially Ronald Weasley) could articulate such words in not only a timely response but quantity as well. As such, the story feels like the author is trying to prove that they know big words and they know how to use them. Just like this comment. It's easy and it's desperate.

The translation is great, unfortunately the story itself isn't. The MC feels wooden and his lack of knowledge about the life of the person, whose body he's occupying, makes things incredibly confusing. Not only does he lack the memories of the person whose body he's in, but he also lacks a lot of knowledge about the Harry Potter world, since he only read the first book and watched reviews of the movies. His lack of knowledge about magic and the world in general is seriously frustrating to read about and it makes him feel like Lockhart 2.0, as he basically has to BS his way through life. Some people might enjoy that kind of story, but I certainly don't.

it's a really bad read. I don't get the false comments saying how it's really good and everything. The characters lack a spark of life, they're mere caricatures with awkward dialogues. The story reads like a true chinese trash fanfic...seriously, they are all mostly from same mould. Pushing out lots and lots of chapters without the quality to back it up.

as of right now ( ch 33 ) its a nice read, with good translation , btw chad translator🗿 just for making his new versions of chapter 27-28 as the originals were a bit lacking , so i will give it 4.8 now awaiting more chapters to come so i can give my final rating 🙃

This story can be summarized into three words: Chinese FaceSlaping Western style. It completely ruins the harry potter story. The previous charming, sweet harry Potter became a young master in a matter of 10 chapters. Hermione turns into a spoiled brat who thinks she knows everything, constantly questioning the MC. The whole class just rides it out like a generic chinese novel. Of course you can't forget the 'Elder looking down on junior because his 'new/young' cliche, even though the MC has proven himself sooo many times.

An exciting story!! I can't wait to read the sequel. Just one thing: I'd like to see the professor perform spectacular magic tricks in future chapters. The embodied person seems to me weak compared to the original character.

It’s pretty rare for me to write a review even though I enjoy all (most) stories I read but this one certainly deserves one. This is a translation so if you don’t like it you can’t really complain but pretty much it’s about a dude who knows next to nothing about HP (except for some oddly specific things that nobody would know). Dude ends up becoming a teacher at Hogwarts for DADA and yeah it’s pretty good. Writing quality is pretty good props to the TL and maybe editor if there is one (Im not sure) Update stability is insane the dude just keeps on pumping out chapters which I can’t complain. As for the others you should read it out so you can decide for yourself but overall it’s a pretty good story which can be kind of hard to find on WN so yeah.
