This does have spoilers from the latest chapter (directly from chapter 156). This is my second review so don't expect much. Firstly, I do like this fic, it is one of the better ones with sensible plot and overall much better quality then other self-fulfillment and other ones. Now starting with the problems (and although this cannot be held accountable by the author as collage is not something that could be given up just because of a mere fan fic), this update have been getting more and more late. It is not horrible per say, but moving onwards. So far (directly from chapter 156), the story itself seems very... clouded? For example, the main character is going through a problem I will call 'becoming too OP'. The problem he faces now are 'counterable' through work and it doesn't help that his 'cheat' is in essence future knowledge and he is becoming too overpowered by the current chapter. Perhaps this is because of my blurry memories but, at this point, with his countless 'miracles' and 'chances', what is truly stopping him from using them all and achieving a 'good end' in the present through brute force of countless repeats like a regression novel main character? I do remember something about how he still wishes to stay human (though don't quote me on that), all true problems he faces at this point are quite (in my opinion), superficial. The harem problem, the Twilight syndrome (through a true Holy Grail and Greater Grail with now a basically countless 'chances' and 'miracles' and to mention his dream organs and the like). All in all, I feel like the novel should be ending soon (or perhaps I don't quite understand the final problem, the Twilight Syndrome well enough.). Although at the start of the novel when Nobu first got a 'chance' and used it, I feel like that was when the problem started. It was far too easy. Each 'chance' (from what I can remember) was something of several batteries worth of electricity? And if I remember, the first 'chance' was given for free. This 'cheat' was far too much though it was compensated by the fact that his talent in magicka was bad, though it truly doesn't matter with several chances which is what he did. Anyway, at this point in the novel I truly can't see it progressing unless it is more chapters of Nobu getting more power-ups from the various Fate worlds and the like. If I am correct, then the next chapters would be more slice-of-life chapters. In the end, most of these problems may not be problems to some people which is fine. I am merely writing this to please my own satisfaction and vanity and I hope people reading this won't be dissuaded by this long review of mine, this is certainly a lot better than some hot garbage on here and like how I didn't talk about the Danmachi Arc (which was certainly where the main story took place and where everything is showcased.) Ah, now that I think about it, the missed potential of the Familiar Of Zero who (from what I remember) only showed for a small portion of chapters. Anyways, this is just a review from my personal opinion and I hope to those reading enjoy it~[img=recommend]
