The story does not get good, it just doesn't, do not believe the author's comments if he ever says it does. It stops being the single most garbage thing I've ever had the disgrace of reading for sure, but that doesn't mean it is anywhere close to good.

im not to great at giving reviews but ill give it a shot. in the first few chapters wasnt really catching my interest too much but that fight between the mc and sakumo is what really hooked me into the story. the attempts at humor those first couple chapters was a little rough but then got a lot better after and i was genuinely laughing out loud at some of the jokes. my only complaint is i feel hes getting stronger to slowly but the author did explain his reasons which i feel are completely reasonable but still i feel that tiny bit of disappointment at his growth but im sure that will start ramping up when that 2nd war starts. i hope that this merchant arc doesn't drag on to long while i think traveling around the 5 villages is neat im a little worried it will just turn into a whole lot of nothing really happening but i guess we will see and i will just have faith in the author it turns out cool. oh totally forgot to mention i really enjoyed his interactions with the other characters so far like dai and his nara buddy and hope to see them show up more often lol

The first 10 chapters are not the best not gonna lie, BUT after the fight with Sakumo the quality increases immensely... The power up although slow are logical and show the struggle the mc goes through to keep himself in check and increase his power... Lastly, the power levels seem to be higher to handle the power Garou has in later stages and although he meets way stronger opponents early, that show that the world itself keeps going and doesn't stagnate when the mc is not there just for the sake of the plot...

A very good Naruto Fanfic, although, as the author said the early chapter can be a little bit off-putting. The good thing is everything starts to get better after the Sakumo fight (which is something everyone in the comments section already said a million times already lol). Another good thing is the Female Lead selection. (no spoilers of course!!!) You also don't need to see a typical japanese beta personality who drag down romance for like 100+ chapters, MC is a pretty straightforward type of guy so that also can be considered as a plus. Overall, the fic looks great with interesting prospects to come by in the future.

The writing clearly needs more work, the structure is incoherent and the POV change in almost every page made the story flow choppy. I can't really take the story and seriously so I'm gonna read it as a parody, that make the story more tolerable in my mind. The updates are fast so that's a plus. World Background is AU, it's still at the start so I'll rate it 4 stars at the moment.
