I always give a Chinese fic with an interesting plot a chance, even though most of them are illegible and no good. This one is surprisingly readable, it's clearly MTL but the translator cleaned it up nicely and made it readable. The problem is that the story sucks. As in most Chinese fics all characters have become stupid and just like in most Chinese Soul Land fics, Tang San has become a villain and the MC hates him for no reason. It's a generic Chinese fic that just doesn't work outside of China.

Spelloyal:Normally I would be willing to do some research and consider your comment, debate whether I disagree (and I do) and cite why, but your inability to respond without using slurs like stupid or rubbish is enough for me to know you're closed-minded and it's not worth debating anymore. I'm just going to conclude by saying that good actions do not nullify bad actions or justify them. Just because Spirit Hall has helped a lot of people doesn't mean they have the right to do whatever they want without bearing the consequences.

tang san is garbage, he took revenge on a guy who is dead, from a good organization for common people, the hall of souls is very good for people, later the doulo continent is more tang san's backyard and is full of evil soul master. Your argument is stupid tang san was always rubbish (what happens is that he looks very good), his personality is the same as original, his teacher yu xiotong is the same scum that he is

All organizations look for that, without the hall of souls, the empires kill each other to dominate the continent, your argument is stupid, thanks to the hall of souls the villagers and villagers have opportunities (they also have a salary depending on the talent to that they develop, if you were a poor family), if you had not existed, those who would govern would be the clans and the nobles, the pebleyos would be like slaves who would have to put up with those scum,

Bruh, its different world and different rules you call guy a narrow minded when you are narrow minded too, there is no right or wrong in cultivation novels there is only might is right aka the stronger one make rules,it was always like that if you are strongest in the whole universe you can do whatever you want in it,there is no society like in planet where we live but even then here because we dont have superpowers we have money, the whole point of cultivation novels is the world where evil and good does not exist and you can do whatever you want as long as you have power.

Good and evil certainly exist in cultivation worlds and you will hardly see a novel where villains and heroes are not differentiated and the characters understand the concept of good and evil, although I agree that it is a society based on martial power. It is also worth mentioning that karma is often a big factor in this type of world and having negative karma is often very harmful in the long run. It is also worth mentioning that your argument is a bit confusing because you seem to support the other guy who considers Tang San evil in taking down the spirit hall but your argument says that it was his right to do that because he is strong just like it was the right of the spirit hall to commit crimes and atrocities as he tries to dominate the continent.

I feel like your misrepresenting his argument I think he was trying to say to say that by our moral standards Tang San would be considered evil/an antagonist if he wasn't the main character with the reason as to why sprit hall seems more evil/worse then it was is due to Tang San along with those he associated with being biased against it when if you actually look at what Sprit Hall does and what their goals are that the true hero's are actually the sprit hall

So after reading about all the bad things Tang San did, do you still support him?

In the setting of Soul Land there is no Karma included
