Too many plot holes, the authors skipped too much to rush into the paywall. Many questionable places that completely ruined the fun were not addressed. The design of Developer and Player were about the Developers make games to train the Players, however, the Developers could completely stomp players for some reasons. The MC also made questionable choices out of nowhere, instead of digging around for more information, he decided to fight monsters because why not? This novel is much worse than MARVEL: GAME MAKER SYSTEM in all aspects.

LIKEregarding dev and player. i think the author already explain it, it's like Chinese cultivation, there are Genius (Heaven Root), Talented(Earth Root), Normies(trash). basically it's all about luck and talent. kinda agree with the monster hunting part. wish he just stayed and developing more game.
You forgot one thing, the Players NEED the Developers, but not otherwise. If Developers has a whole dimension higher amount of mana, can create skills at will and do whatever they want, then Players are just mana slaves. The roles are there for distinction and to drive the story, if Developers could fight better than Players, then why bother training Players? This setting should make the Developer unable to fight, or is severely limited. Think about it, he barely crossed E-rank and he already have enough "confident" to fight mid-peak E-rank monsters after sleeping around the house for a month. In Chapter 13, the author wrote that the Developers could use Mana to learn skills and what is lacking at the moment is their imagination. I can't see why the Principal or the Mayor wouldn't abuse this and create a bunch of C-class skills. While something like the knowledge to upgrade gun required the Developers to know it beforehand, throwing a fireball shouldn't be so hard to imagine. You see the point here? The Developers does not "have to" train the Players. They just need to create some powers and force the Players to play it to get Mana and then convert the skills to real-life for themselves. It can be as bland as a sitting down on a chair and watch a NPC using a summoning spell to summon a dragon on loop.

In addition, only the MC want to grow up fast. For people like the Principal and Mayor, they absolutely can wait a year or five doing nothing to learn a skill.
