Hmm, maybe its out of nowhere for you specifically but I have stated multiple times there would be three love interests in this story and tagged this harem, there is 0 reason not to have a threesome when the MC has a harem. I would avoid the harem genre if I was you... but I guess there are just some people who enjoy the Pokemon harem kind of stuff where the MC just puts the girls on the shelf and ignores them while he focuses on new conquests.
