The story has an interesting idea, but please explain to me why spoil it with stupid magic and Deus ex machina ??? The author, do you really not have a normal Fantasy or are you just writing trash stories?

at the same time, don't get me wrong, but all children taking science and chemistry classes at the first school can produce (glass,soap,drinks,perfume,paint) if you can't find plants for paint, shouldn't it be difficult to make ink and paper or a pencil ? it can be produced and grown in the greenhouse (coffee, tea, spices, silk, fruit, tobacco, poison,)
