A very interesting novel. The worldbuilding is very good, I enjoyed thoroughly how the author was able to interpret everyday items in a more magical way. Moreover, the magic system, while never explained, is intuitive. It is easy for the reader to understand and pick up. The writing, while relying on certain phrases and words, is very solid. If grammatical mistakes bother you, then you should not worry about this novel. The main character, Arthur, tries to force sympathy at times. I understand that everyone looks at him like trash and garbage, but the sheer number of times this is referenced is a little much. This, though, is all my opinion. The story development is fast paced, and throws you straight into the action, leaving little to no time for boredom. This may be detrimental to those who enjoy lingering stories, but for those that enjoy action, it is a perfect fit. Overall, this is a very good fantasy novel with an interesting premise. I would recommend it to those who enjoy a lot of fun and fast paced stories. Happy writing, author.
