realistic story. I hate what happen to his mother, but I recognize that there has to be something that will motivate him to start the revolution, otherwise he'd be content with living a normal commonfolk life. keep going mate, the story is unique and have great potentials. just hope you don't bring canons and primitive rifles, cuz that will be a huge skip in evolution, there are many medieval weapons that are needed to be developped, and those are enough for him to dominate wars with. just the lack of siege warmachines in Planetos show how much primitive they are, I think the revolution should include Essos too.

No, guns would be very necessary, because without them the only advantage the peasants have is greater numbers. guns are what give the pesants a leg up with it comes to knights with years of training.
