With the last chapter, the novel became similar to an original novel and discarded the "fanficition" genre. It also take something from Sword art online (that I personaly never liked :s). 1077 players "died" and end up in "another" world, this review is made at chapter 30 when it happen. For me what make a fanfic is the background of the world and the character living in it. How the MC will act and how the world/character will develop with him instead of the original MC. The feeling of the original "Overlord" and the setting have been completely changed, meaning this is no longer a fanfic and more of a "insprired" by type of story. In the early chapter the MC was interesting, all the other OC the author introdiuced are not interesting at all and I ended up skipping most of the chapters that weren't about the game... But it changed in the last few chapters, it was like a complet different person without any proper development. At the begining, with the title, I though the MC would be a dev and get to the new world with the ability to "develop" it. Adding new race, new kind of power, interacting with some people to "play" around. But in the end, it's similar to the other fanfic where he get some advantage with his in game character... until chapter 30 when it stop being a fanfic. I will read the next few chapters, but I don't have much hope about it... In the end, it's just a disappointment.
