This review is done after reading 41 chapters. The writing style is pretty great, as expected from an author with English as a first language. the use of words is diverse and enjoyable, the grammar is correct, and the characters have a definite style of speech. Updates stability - The author updates every day and makes sure the readers have what to look forward to, so I'm giving 5 stars for that. Story development - This one was a bit confusing for me to review. The title and the beginning make you expect a story of an emotionless undead. Soon, the story shifts and MC aspires to be human. I won't spoil it, but as for now I'm unsure of what type of MC Gerard is. Furthermore, there's a long time skip in which all we know is that MC went through some torture, but apparently, the MC went through quite the emotional roller coaster, and his personality and goals were deeply shaped during that period of time. Other than the uncertainty of what the MC's disposition is, I think it's been a great plot with interesting developments all along. I would like to mention that there are no wasted chapters, and each chapter helps the plot advance. Character Design - As I said before, Gerard is a bit confusing. He seems to be a good guy where I'm at. His companion, Sprite, is a consistent character in her behavior and traits, and she is a sweetheart. World Background - The author develops it interestingly, and you can see the interaction between a few types of species. There is a good power system, classes, and stats that make it easier to gauge the MC's strength compared to the rest of the world.
