So with most of my reviews I like to start with my critics and I only critic novels I think are worth saving. I'd like too know a little more about the world, though I think the pacing of information is coming in at a steady rate. So my one and only critic is over, now for the praise. I normally never read webnovels past the 5th chapter and even then that sometimes is a struggle, but not this one I read about 15 chapters in one sitting without wanting to turn away. Though yes it's not the most inventive system/reincarnation novel it does a great job of flowing. Stuctured very nicely, I'd say it is better than the mass majority of novels I've read on this app. The MC Gerard is great being an older man is refreshing as the way he moves just breaths that level of a seasoned individual. And even though I am 15 chapters deep and nothing crazy has happened i can see the ground worked being laid, the foundations of Rome slowly coming up to a crescendo that I whole heartedly believe will culminate in an excellent story keep up the work, and don't let these haters knock you off the path you are going on!

LIKEI'll try and include a little more wordbuilding when I have the opportunity. Third person limited perspective limits by ability for Gerard, the narrator, to talk about the world. He's so caught up with surviving, that he hardly has a chance to even consider spending the few breaths he has, to learn about the world. I'm really glad you're enjoying it so far. And if that's your main criticism, then it seems I'm telling my story well.
