Don't make it Harem. Unless your already adept at writing romance stuff, stories always tend to go sideways and plummet downwards.

no such guys exist, they only hate harem cause of bad writing, or their favourite character not getting enough screentime or affection from the MC cause of the others in the harem

very true, I don't like reading harem fics and it's ONLY because the authors get lazy with the pairings and development of the relationships, characters, or even the situations that lead them to accept joining the harem. very few do a good enough job for me to finish the story.

true. what sucks is his biggest story started great with the harem. momo became more developed as a character and lover. same with midnight too. and rumi. but then the author kind of went lax on developing any others. he also made the mc too strong too fast. after the marvel world there was no struggle or conflict.

Nobody hates harem. People are annoyed when there is too much harem and little plot, or too much plot, so there is little screen time for the harem thus making it feel forced. If there was an equilibrium, and the characters weren't constantly meat riding the MC and actually in a poly relationship where everyone loved each other, things could be done correctly.

Do you know where a harem works? Nowhere, because who in their right mind would agree to share a relationship with 30, 50, 100 people... not to mention that they are human! Where everyone loves each other, lol. Are you talking about humans who kill over the slightest amount of jealousy? Or something better? It must be strange and amazing people flocking to enjoy a single person... That's complete selfishness and naivety... If you're over 21 and think like that... God

Doesn’t mean harems are good or that they make any sense in the story. Plus writing a good harem story is hard and is easy to mess up.
