eh. the reviews got my hopes up. the author is not consistent and clear. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* in just the first few chapters the FL randomly figures out she can determine quality of gems by touch (literally says "she suddenly thought of something," and tried it out). and then starts the whole betting on gambling jade and that when I stopped. bleh.

I don't know what this novel would became in the future. The One thing I know when read until chapter 40 in trial mode was, that chapter ended with cliffhanger!!!!!! 😫. Even though I don't like the naming character in this novel, but still hooked because the ending in chapter 40.

This is terrible. There's no descriptions. The plot jumps in bursts like a cocaine addicted rabbit. The FL is plot-armor stupid and lucky. Couldn't even finish chapter 2 after the, "left the jewelry store and got randomly mugged"
