From the start youre awakened to a dark world no one wishes to be a part of. destroying the fantasy and happiness we will have imagined a pokemon world to be like. Each chapter just makes you more and more sad. by chapter 6 you want to kill yourself and put the MC out of his misery. Nothing good happens, no bright light to hang on to for hope of a better tomorrow. Not an ounce of positivity. Just seems like a big excuse to do what you want and treat people like trash. Also zero interaction with humans cuz they all apparently suck and are all evil. lolol Just don't really see the point of such a story. I see such sadness on the news every day, no need to read it here too.

LIKEyour understandable reasoning aside, that much darkness is just too forced, you needed that much tragedy for something to be compelling? no one would of made it out of that scenario unless they had plot armor and that just seems like lazy writing. Not that you aren't a good author and this story isn't overall a good one. its another trend on webnovel, "who can make their origin story the darkest." i guess I just gotta get use to it.
Actually after reaching the latest, even if this world is much darker than what the anime has shown, I can see the MC surviving because he's to sly. Too cautious for his own. And yet the author made him too young to even legally own a Pokemon so Ill expect he'll be on the edge from time to time. I only wish this gets a time skip so that he starts travelling. He's way ahead already than most of his peers. Would he be as strong as an elite or ace trainer when he ventures out?
Honestly, I'm a little upset, there hardly seems to be any decent Pokémon fanfic, the vast majority are full of darkness. When I was looking to read Pokémon fanfic I was expecting something more similar to an anime or game, with adventures, defeating villains, catching Pokémon and improving together. If I wanted to read dark or sad fanfiction I would go look for other series with zombies, war or even Final Fantasy.
