I liked it, but I won't continue to read it, here's the reason why: Morpheus (mc) is not a lord of dreams, he is just an immortal magician who specialize in divination and rituals. The story is in Harry's parents timeline. The demons and angels are just not hp material. The story doesn't relatable to me in any way, so there's no need to read it.

I agree 100% about Angel, Demon part. I really like the premise of this story, but an existence of Immortal, God, Angel and Demon will drastically change thing. Voldemort is no longer a biggest threat when those can existed. Not to mention, when he can achieve his immortal gold without horcrux just make thing more complicate.

It's a world of magic why should it be boring and predictable with just a Lord Voldemort as a bad guy, and only 1 way of staving off death. I personally love the originality of this instead of most fanfics that keep it uncomplicated as you call it and basically rewrite the original with like only 2 or 3 differences

How are demons, angels, and gods not hp material? They are inherently mysterious, mythical, and magical creatures. So, for them to be part of a magical world makes complete sense. Though I can understand if it may not be to your taste due to the difference in times with the original

1st because you need to change entire narrative and the world law to fit it in. In HP world, Immortal is suppose to be something almost impossible to achieve and very limit even if you get it. However, in this new narrative, it was much more common since MC already have it somehow. If it easy and achievable with multiple way to attain, then everyone would already have it and there is no threat that can really be kill since everyone just can get immortality. 2nd, with new race, author need to add oc character to fit it into the story or change the race of existing character. Both are not appealing to many readers. You can change the story while still respect to the original law/lore without breaking it apart with unnecessary element. But just like you like the originally of this story, I just dislike that unnesesasy element of it. It's just different in opinion, that's all.

Honest author review, I honestly think the story and world I am building is wonderful. What I would say Is if you like fights every other chapter this ff isn’t for you. Yes there will be battles and fights but not a crazy amount in the beginning, in saying this i still wouldn’t classify my ff as a slow burn I think it’s more of a medium. I am trying to build a world that you can fully immerse yourself in. I hope you give my ff a try, thank you for reading this if you did!

Wow I didn't expect to find a gem like this, it's only the first few chapters but the world building and the main character are quite novel something that stands out among so many generic stories, for the moment I'm not going to get my hopes up too high because there are only a few chapters, only time will tell if the story is really good or just another mediocre story with a good start.

I'm not one to write reviews nor am I good at them, but this is a hidden gem, with AU elements but keeping true to the essence of HP. Don't expect it to be all faithful and neither, as far as I can see is Voldemort being the final villain, as there are mythical elements involved. If you expect an HP fic faithful to the books don't read it, but if you expect a good fic with original and expanded world building with mythic elements but without bordering on the absurd, this is totally your cup of tea.
