Guys don't read this s***t because the author is nerfing the mc by making the excuse to make the mc adapt to his current powers. This is such a bull**** since mc has the innate adaptability skill which makes him adapt to his skills faster but still the mc doesn't upgrade his powers due to his underestimation of his own powers even when his retained xp can amount to directly promote him to level 4 star but still won't progress. You know why that is, it's because this author wants to show his extreme hardships and s***t when the mc has the power to destroy anything he has. I say it's a waste of time to see his hardships when he can destroy his problems which op skills. Sigh I really wanted a good kingdom building novel with op mc.

LIKEHe is upgrading just as much strength as he needs; that adaptability skill needs battle experience to come into full effect. He doesn't just instantly become fully knowledgeable/used to his abilities, he just learns quickly and doesn't make the same mistake twice. If he needed to be stronger, then he would be - his personal strength isn't holding the plot back at all as it is already clear that victory is assured as long as he is present. Also, he has a qualitative improvement to all his skills/abilities upon tier up, which would be completely wasted by rushing things when he is already strong enough to defeat all his enemies in a head on battle. The main holdup in kingdom expansion is administrative issues of actually governing what he has
It took 300+ chapters to level up ONCE

Does not agree with you . When he was 3 tier he can seckill 3rd tier even before they react . Then if he have upgraded to peak 5 tier in early chapter he could have easily seckill 5 tier as well because of his agility stat .. Noone needs fighting experience when killing a mosquito or a fly .
