80% of people, especially those who have read any Japanese isekai story hate the childhood arc's as they are usually extremely boring and can kill a story in its early stages, it's just as easy to tell us he spent his childhood years training his control and power and also leave room for the Author to pull new stuff out of nowhere (with a limit) by saying he trained it then

1: show prove for that 80% 2: most people dislike the childhood part because at least in this app at the most part not helpful at all 3: also lot of people hate when the mc just get new power out of nowhere with any prove he train it will feel very rushed

1: the 80% is based on hundreds of reviews I have read (mainly on novelupdates and mainly Japanese isekai stories with some Chinese and Korean novels as well {not so much in English stories as most I've read/looked at start with MC already a young adult - adult}), 2: as I said, it's mainly because they are boring and 3: that's why I said within a certain limit

Not a very reliable source. Sounds like you seek your own biases and present them as fact. A opinion should not be presented as a fact, i.e using numbers which you've probably never even kept track of, just picked a random number off the top of your head :P.

Yet by the time the plot does start after 20+ chapters later, all that training montage is thrown out when MC meets the main cast because the author made MC inadvertently op, therefore needs to be nerfed to fit the story. Which makes all that childhood and 20 or so chapters useless.
