A mildly (at best) entertaining novel. The translation quality is lacking at times and although this novel only has 19 chapters out atm, it's already getting more and more formulaic. Seriously, it's only been 19 chapters and I already know what pattern this entire novel is going to follow, it's just really boring faceslapping. This is sub par in both concept and execution, perhaps the squandering system was an idea that could work if done differently but this ain't it. Instead of a silly, comedic, refreshing novel, we've got a very stale take on what could have been a silly, comedic, refreshing novel, it's all just very sub par and uninteresting. I've only read 19 chapters and I'm already tired of this and I consider myself to be a patient reader. I'm glad I'm not too patient though since reading any more of this would just be a draining way to waste my time. 1/5

LIKEI really dislike you and your argument but just in case people start agreeing with this wild little comment of yours, I'll be nice n take you seriously. This novel is trying to be funny. Take the Avengers for example (Or any MCU movie really). There are actually quite a few jokes in Avengers, it is (when it tries to be) funny. I laugh. It isn't a comedy. Same rules apply here, a novel, or anything really, doesn't have to be a comedy to be funny. Imagine if every joke in Avengers fell flat really badly. Imagine if they were all horrendously unfunny puns. That would definitely ruin the experience, people would go: "why even incorporate humour if you're so bad at it? the film would be better if you didn't even try being funny and kept it entirely serious instead". This is similar to my current sentiment, the only difference is that this novels whole shtick is being silly in an entertaining way so there's no point in being serious since it'd suck even more. This novel is trying to be funny and it is failing. If a novel isn't trying to be silly or comedic, I obviously wouldn't consider that a factor. But even you can't deny that that is exactly what this novel is trying to do. It's a face slapping novel where the punchline is our protagonists ridiculously extravagant behaviour. Said behaviour along with every side characters reactions is supposed to amuse the reader. Even if I were to ignore how it's failing miserably at what it's trying to do, it's still just as bad anyways. This doesn't even work as a serious novel, I'd give it an even lower score because of how unrealistic, illogical and just straight up bad it is, none of the characters make sense out of the context of a novel that isn't supposed to be taken seriously. It has nothing going for it. This is at its core, is NOT a serious novel. Comparing this to Predator and Avengers is ridiculous. I know what's going to happen. I know that sect master is his lover interest and she will never die. I know that the MCs father will never die. I know that he's going to constantly face slap to get power ups. This isn't good writing. Unrelated rant: No MCU film is or ever will be a "classic". They're the movie equivalent to theme park rides, there's no substance to them. They're designed to make profit and nothing more. The Godfather is a classic, Endgame is not. This is coming from a fella who loved everything MCU when I was 10. I couldn't entirely put my finger on what exactly I didn't like about the MCU so I googled it and found a pretty neat accurate analogy: If the entire MCU was a food, they'd be hot dogs. Nothing wrong with the occasional hot dog. They can be delicious and just about everyone eats them once in a while. But if you say your favourite food is hot dogs, I’m going to assume you have the taste of a child.
Saad_Yousuf:Being silly and comedic is not everything about a novel. Do you find Avengers endgame or classics like Predator funny?
Okay first of all you hate my argument cause your head just busted and second of all there is plenty of reason to hate this novel like unnecessary plot. The unnecessary plot being when the protoganist transmigrated he found a woman who came from the upper world and as the protoganist have nothing but money coincidentally the lady asks for money for anyone to join her. Then the system being talkative. Plenty of people hate talkative systems. And I am one of them. Thirdly stupidity of Mc. I don't know anything but Mc needs resources to be prodigal so what should he have done. Running to his father's lap that is. And there being many and of course one of the reasons being because of the system he has to make a lot of enemies from the start. Then about comedy, I don't know how dumb you are but you really need to stop arguing and accept that you are dumb. The jokes in Avengers could at most make one snicker and that's it no ones gonna laugh their a** off at that one. And there are a lot of examples which even don't have comedy like Life of Pi, Predator, Jurassic Park,Titanic and Avatar. They don't have any silliness and comedy there and lastly A good read doesn't always need comedy. It hurts to read your inane schizopostesque drivel but I'm going to be patient and amicable (to a reasonable extent) and actually reason with you for a bit since you seem to misunderstand some things, likely due to the antagonistic nature of our previous interactions. This paragraph has been written at the end in order to end this more politely. I might insult you below but bear with me and carefully read this to the end, you shouldn't feel the need to reply to this comment if you do so. I already criticised the other aspects of this novel, I gave it a low score. You are agreeing with me you dimwit. I said the comedy in this novel is falling flat and that's an issue. The Avengers is funny but if it was painfully unfunny that would reduce your enjoyment. Like if Stark started making really bad dad jokes every 2 seconds, you'd cringe at that and like him less, it could even ruin great scenes. This novel is trying to be funny very, very hard because that's something the author is trying to focus on. The problem is that the author fails at this. This isn't funny and because it isn't funny the already terrible plot, story etc becomes even more glaring that it already is, it's already been established that we agree on this you empty-headed imbecile. Like maybe stop for a second and think "huh am I agreeing with this guy?" because you literally just repeated my argument back to me, just dumber. Everything you just said here is pointless because you failed to grasp the fact that this novel isn't made to be taken seriously in the first place because the focus was supposed to be on humorous face slapping. The main reason this novel is bad is that the aforementioned goofy face slapping wasn't humorous but instead unfunny and bad. On top of this everything else about this is bad too so it has no redeeming qualities. That's everything wrong with this novel summarised, nobody said that the plot was good, stop schizoposting and get help. Just in case you don't get the point by now I'll continue, pay close attention to this because I think you'll really appreciate this explanation of mine since it gets to the heart of the matter, I'll try to explain it in a simple way so that you 100% get it since this seems to be a misunderstanding. You seem to be unable to understand what exactly I'm referring to when I'm talking about "comedy". Now you might not know this but your favourite little film the Avengers is not a Comedy (Genre) but it has Comedy (Jokes) but the Comedy (Jokes) is NOT the FOCUS. This novel, in spite of the Genre (Cultivation) has Comedy (Jokes) and Comedy (Jokes) is the FOCUS, not the storyline. This doesn't mean the storyline and other elements of this novel are just immune to criticism, it just means that we need to take them in context, the context being the the focus of the novel: Comedy (Jokes). To make it easier for you: in terms of seriousness, the tone of this novel is closer to Family Guy (than Avengers! There's no tension. With this exhaustive explanation of mine, even the dullest of dullards should get the gist. Now shut up and go on with your day because I can't be bothered to spend any more of mine replying to your irate ravings, one can only have so much patience.

This isn't the first time I've had the displeasure of interacting with this guy so I'm not surprised by his reply, I've called him illiterate so many times in the past and it's only getting more and more obvious that I'm right, the man cannot read.
ExArgentum:Bro. Did you read his reply?
Yeah. Just look at his profile. The comments this guy is making are asinine.
