So first off the idea of using a child as the center of a yandare harem type story. It actually makes perfect sense with the insane goddess who puts him in all the situations. I actually liked the story up until around the second exam. It gets to the point where there are confusing situations thrown at me the reader one after another and the MC going through massive death traps in the 'hunter exam' that none of the competitors could possibly complete. Obviously he is taking a different exam thanks to his insane goddess, but I was actually hoping for more interaction with the heroines particularly in yandare mode. Not just the insane goddess.

Short Critical Review Read 105 chapters and dropped unfortunately. It has some good ideas, but I would have to say I'm disappointed. The problem is I can't take it seriously. While I know its a story full of yanderes, so I expect craziness, but the realism behind things in the story not just with the heroines are very unsatisfactory. One of the main reasons behind it is because the MC is a child. One that is under the age of 10 mind you. I have no complaints with him being a child, but the way people around him react aren't realistic enough most of the time in response to his presence. The author does try to show the character development of the mc multiple times in comparison to show his change from the past. But I feel the execution is lacking from my expectations and things that should be seen much later in the novel are seen quite early within the 100 chapters. (SPOILER) For instance, there was a scene in the novel where he confronts his ugly self which was seen in a random test because goddess was like yeah lets mess with him here. Instead of maybe some hyped built up test and this was like the final test where he struggles deeply because its a reflection of his psyche but instead we something resolved quite quickly and the acceptance was done in like a chapter. It's pretentious and cheap. I cannot take it seriously sorry. SPOILER~ I stopped at 104 for a reason. With the previous chapter of the heroine who was LITERIALLY IN HER 30S hardcore smother kissed a kid under 10 years old! While its ridiculous and we can just blame things on the goddess even tho things weren't done in a convincing matter prior to this....THE MC DOES NOT QUESTION THE MORALITY BEHIND IT NOR WAS IT MENTIONED AT ALL BY THE AUTHOR. The only reception close to that was "...That's sexual harassment of a young boy." In the next chapter, he contemplates about the incident as the matter between man and woman. Cool that's fine since you were actually an adult before, but like... HELLO MORALITY?!!! This is the perfect example as to why I just can't take things seriously at all. Serious story or not it doesn't matter, but the realism is very unsatisfactory. As a result, I'm dropping it unfortunately. It's a shame because there are some good ideas like the whole mc being able to go to Dia. I also quite liked Tania and she at least out of the 3 heroines introduced was the most believable even though it was still ridiculous. Writing quality- It's fine for a web novel standard. There are mistakes but it doesn't distract me from my reading and completely legible.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
