Had to end my reading of this novel at chapter 84. The WG cutting of the entire Marines, which is essentially their state military, because they chose to let some self-righteous upstart run around freely doing w.e he wants, even though they're aware his DV is special, should be a deal breaker for any One Piece fan. Not only did this Author butcher One Piece's established history by inserting his MC as a destined one, he also showed zero respect to the characters by lowering their IQ to make things convenient for his MC. It's lazy and forces the readers to dumb down their own intelligence just so they can carry on reading. The MC, as well, has no semblance of a personality. All he has is motivation, and that's it. The 1 dimension to his personality is he is self-righteous and thinks he can do anything he wants as long as he thinks it's right, leading to him and his thoughts being more frustrating to read than the fact that everyone around him is several times dumber than their canon counterparts. Not that the other characters feel 'real' either. The OCs have no personality and it's impossible to distinguish them if not for their codenames. The only way to salvage this god-awful novel is to switch the pov to the straw hats and just focus on their interactions with the MC. Not that it matters when the WG is literally going to war against their own military for the dumbest reason a mentally functional person could think of. All in all, the only good thing about this fanfic is the pacing. And that's just talking about pacing relatively, given that One Piece fanfics tend to rush through the timeline like they're never going to run out of content. I probably missed a lot of flaws but I don't think it matters. This should be enough to discourage enough with half a brain from reading this god-awful take on One Piece.

Thanks for the God-awful comment. You have done nothing but nitpick all the way to 84. Not understanding the fruit. Marines etc it doesn’t take half a brain as you said to get those (but you didn’t) The fanfic is writing with the introduction of the MC to the timeline after Gold Roger. His addition cause ripples those affected the world? You are upset cuz Luffy is not the focus of the book? V4 is written outside the timeline and this is a what if one piece went this way. What if there were Gods who fell into the world. What if Mary Gorosei is actually a person, the God from the God Clan? What if Uranus is the God from Dovah (the name given to the one piece world)? What if the battle between them erased from history was a battle to ascend back to a God? You complain that the WG left the MC alone even when they knew he is Uranus? Uranus is a God? MC has the Umi Umi no Mi but they tried to restrain him and it backfired. if we look at the canon the WG knew luffy’s fruit was not gomu gomu no mi but did they chase him to the ends no! The only time we saw something that pointed its importance is when IM carried pictures of luffy, Blackbeard, vivi and Shiraoshi. But nothing was done until he was about to awaken so how did it break one piece??? Thanks for reading! All I can say is you didn’t like it for your own reasons. But doesn’t mean you should give affect others from reading the book.

I already said my piece. It's not my fault you didn't get it the first time, like how you clearly don't get the power dynamics between the Marines and WG in the world of One Piece. I suggest you actually try understanding what you watch/read before writing a fanfic about said material. You seriously can't sound more brain dead than you do now. It's like talking to someone who's partially in a coma, lol. I know the way I'm passing information is clear, but the other party seems to be in a fever dream and can't even process the most common of senses. Oh, and you're dismissed. Feel free to stop trying to justify your garbage work any time you want. I'm not your mom, but please be sure to wear your helmet on your way out. Your head may be gigantic but there's not enough substance inside that can help you survive in the real world. It's filled with nothing but hot air and ego.
